Mr. Greer has been lead counsel in in almost 100 jury trials in areas of aircraft design and maintenance, pilot error, suits against governments, consumer product design, airport premises safety, highway design, markings and signs, escalator and elevator mishaps, bus and rental vehicle accidents and injuries and death from over-serving alcohol.
Damage issues have involved wrongful death, amputation, partial paralysis, post-traumatic head injuries and stress, multiple orthopedic injuries, vocational disability, loss of profits and business opportunities and property damage and loss of value
Mr. Greer also works in areas of insurance coverage, bad faith, uninsured and underinsured motorist’s claims. In the past, he was with a national law firm whose clients were Lloyds of London and domestic insurers as well as manufacturers. Early in his career he was managing attorney for a major property and casualty insurance company. He advised the company on insurance coverage, prepared declaratory relief actions, defended tort claims and taught coverage and good practices to insurance adjusters.
He obtained a $5.4 million verdict against the world’s largest insurance company for breach of contract and bad faith.
